A REBOOT IS ON THE WORKS
We sadly have to cut short and won't have time for mods, but before we go we will launch the mod we put the most effort into in the last couple months. Introducing "Curse Retold", a complete Reboot of a mid-effort experimental mod we made a few years ago called "Alphas Relocked". Mod will feature a completely revamped story based on the official lore of Mr. Peterson, while introducing tons of newer, older, and custom mechanics. This will replace Alphas Relocked's ModDB Page at launch day. The mod will hopefully release soon.

Hello, Neighbors
We're almost done with the first Chapter out of 3 for Curse Retold, our personal Hello Neighbor 1 re-telling.
We DON'T think we'll ever release a Chapter 1 Demo as the chapter itself, if released without anything else, could feel quite disappointing since the real deal begins only mid-way through chapter 2... This includes endings that alterate completely the story mode depending on your choices.
So it is pretty much confirmed, Curse Retold will release only once 100% completed.
HOWEVER, since we really tend to go on radio silence, we've decided to show some early footage from time to time. We'll be taking our time with this project: it could take months how it could take a year (in the worst of scenarios that is, we really doubt it will take that long, but hey you never know).
We won't be sharing any release date until the mod is at least 98% complete, but we promise you a fleshed out polished story mode with all the previously promised mechanics.

Is there any release date for the reboot? im anxious lmao
lol, nope, not yet.
We're taking all the time we need with animating, modelling, planning out puzzles, etc etc
And we don't have much free time, so I don't think that it will release this Summer. I do think we can manage to release it a little before 2024 or early 2024 though, but it's speculation, not really a confirm. Whenever we'll release it, you have our word it will be worth all the wait. Whenever we'll have a release date, we will pin it on this page. Thanks for looking forward to the project!
HI! i reallyy loved this mod, but im stuck in alpha 1 with just 2 endings, do you think it would be possible to make any guide or video on YT on how to get each ending? i know the point is to explore the game and the houses but i really suck at that and the neighbor just kills me. SOrry to bother you guys and im looking foward for the reboot!

Possibly, but if we do or not it isn't really much of a deal
the mod is still packaged, so you can place it in your steam Hello Neighbor's mods folder with no issue

also you can keep the old version if you want, the project name is different so you can keep both. But we'd rather remove it from here once the reboot is ready

Nah nah, we keep only our best projects public, this mod wasn't even serious back then, just a silly little experiment with no serious plot. But if you want to keep the old version go ahead, the reboot has a completely new project so you can keep both versions in HN1
