Firsts thing first, be sure to follow the installation instructions TO THE LETTER.
Then, please open up the %appdata% folder, The Creative Assembly, Empire, and DELETE all folders EXCEPT for "scripts" and "savegame". This resets the UI and should help, but you will have to start a new campaign.
If it says that WALI_Engine.exe is nowhere to be found, probably your antivirus deleted it thinking it is harmful to the pc. It is not, so just add an exception in the Antivirus options for the WALI folder.
First things first, install the old .NET Framework 3.5 for Windows 10. It is required for many older games.
When playing with VDM, this item is mandatory. Otherwise there will be crashes.

Generally it improves every crucial gameplay factor while it stays close to the feel of the original game. Can you add armor to generals? A metal plate body armor would be fine for western generals, and chain armor for easterners.

first of love the work so far! i get a bug when trying too send ships trade and/or warships too a trading theatre the ships just sail too the squares (to ivory coast brazil etc) i doesnt give the following option too select a theatre and the ships just stay in the squares. Weirdly when the ships are in a port and i send m too the too trade theatre squares i do get the selection option but the ships just stay in port when i select a theatre

Hey cece! I have a question regarding the unit name google doc: If I suggested a renaming of a unit in the last column, are you guys doing it yourselves and including it in the next update or is there something else I got to do? All i did was remove some _underscores_ and give the names proper Capitalization. Thank you in advance!
